Camouflage netting for visual screening and decoration

Camouflage netting is a lightweight and flexible way to screen equipment, observation points or activity areas. It can be used for outdoor photography, fishing, hunting, games and other outdoor activities. The netting can also provide a distinctive background or decorative element at exhibitions, parties and themed events.

Materials and properties vary between the nets. Selected BASIC LIGHT models are made from coated nylon and are water- and fungus-resistant, but they are not flame retardant. The PRO LIGHT model is flame retardant and may therefore be more suitable for certain indoor events and exhibition environments.

Always check the individual specifications and the fire-safety requirements of the venue. Flame-retardant does not mean fireproof, and all netting must be kept away from open flames and other ignition sources.

Camouflage netting provides visual screening, but it is not a weatherproof cover, security barrier or load-bearing material.

Camouflage tarpaulins for covering equipment

A camouflage tarpaulin provides a lightweight cover for equipment, materials and other objects used or stored outdoors. The woodland pattern can make the cover appear less prominent in suitable natural surroundings.

The camouflage tarpaulins in this category are made from lightweight polyethylene and are water-resistant. They can be useful for temporary covering during camping, fishing, hunting, photography and other outdoor activities.

Choose a size that covers the object properly and allows the tarpaulin to be secured without excessive tension. Support the material so rainwater cannot collect in deep pockets, and check the product description for dimensions, material weight and water-resistance specifications.

Size, setup and safe use

Measure the area or equipment before choosing a product. Allow extra material if netting or a tarpaulin must overlap an object, hang loosely or be attached around the edges.

Pop-up gazebos are temporary structures and must always be secured correctly. Use anchoring suited to the surface, follow the weather guidance and do not leave the gazebo unattended in unsuitable conditions. Water or snow must not be allowed to accumulate on the roof.

Always keep tents, netting and tarpaulins away from open flames, welding equipment and other ignition sources. A flame-retardant classification reduces fire risk under specified test conditions but does not make the material fireproof.

Clean and dry the products before packing them away to reduce the risk of mould and material damage. Always follow the instructions for the individual product.

What is the difference between camouflage netting and a camouflage tarpaulin?

Netting is primarily intended for visual screening and decoration. A tarpaulin has a closed surface and is more suitable for covering equipment and providing protection from rain.

Is all camouflage netting flame retardant?

No. Fire-safety properties vary between products. Selected professional netting is flame retardant, while BASIC LIGHT netting is not. Flame-retardant materials are not fireproof and must still be kept away from ignition sources.

Can a camouflage pop-up gazebo remain outdoors permanently?

No. FleXtents® pop-up gazebos are temporary structures. They must be secured correctly, monitored during use and taken down when weather conditions make continued use unsafe.
